Pacific Aerospace Museum
Located in the central lobby of the Honolulu International Airport, the Pacific Aerospace Museum showcases exhibits dealing with aviation and aerospace technology and history. The museum is open daily from 9am to 6pm.
As of May 2007 they were still working on growing this into a stronger attraction. They have plans to open up new areas in the next year or two. This is a nice place to visit when you are there but don’t goto far out of your way.

Mission Houses Museum Established in 1920, the Mission Houses Museum consists of three restored houses and research library that provide a look into 19th Century Hawaii. Visitors can find many exhibits, documents and artifacts pertaining to the 1820-1863 "missionary period". Individual and guided tours are available. The museum is open 10am to 4pm Tuesday to Saturday. More

Queen Emma Summer Palace
Built in 1847, this restored home of Queen Emma and King Kamehameha IV provides a look into the lifestyle of the Hawaiian monarchy. View personal belongings of the royal family, household furnishing, Hawaiian artifacts and quilts. Group-guided and school tours are available, as well as special exhibits, arts and crafts demonstrations, audiovisual programs and Hawaiian quilting classes.

Hawaii Maritime Center
Celebrate Hawaii's rich maritime history through exhibits, displays and rare maritime artifacts. In association with the Bishop Museum, the Hawaii Maritime Center offers visitors a diverse look into Hawaii's history from its discovery by Polynesian navigators 1500 years ago, to contact with the western culture and the effects of whaling.

The Contemporary Museum
The Contemporary Museum, Honolulu, is the only museum in the state of Hawai‘i devoted exclusively to contemporary art. TCM provides an accessible forum for provocative, dynamic forms of visual art, offering interaction with art and artists in a unique Island environment. TCM presents its innovative exhibition and educational programs at two venues: in residential Honolulu at the historic Spalding house, and downtown at First Hawaiian Center.

USS Bowfin Submarine Museum & Park
One of only 15 U.S. WWII submarines still in existence today. The submarine was nicknamed the Pearl Harbor Avenger.

Arizona Memorial Museum Association On December 2-5, 2006, the National Park Service, in cooperation with AMMA, held the Pearl Harbor 65th Anniversary Symposium at the Hilton Hawaiian Village in Honolulu, Hawaii. Featuring scholars, historians, authors, and Pearl Harbor Survivors, the conference examined the legacy of a day that changed the course of history.
