The 550-seat Boulder Theatre was once the quaint city’s movie house. Built in 1931, for years it was the only air-conditioned building in the tiny town. In 1999, Boulder City resident actor/musician Desi Arnaz Jr. and his wife Amy, purchased the facility. The historic structure is being lovingly transformed into a "real" theatre and is currently the home of the Boulder City Ballet Company (Yes, folks, there really is a Boulder City Ballet Company). The theater has been the scene of a number of productions, including the annual BCBC’s December "Nutcracker Ballet."

WHEN IT COMES TO MOTORSPORTS, THERE IS NOT A BETTER FACILITY FOR ALL FORMS OF RACING THAN LAS VEGAS MOTOR SPEEDWAY! WHEN IT COMES TO MOTORSPORTS, THERE IS NOT A BETTER FACILITY FOR ALL FORMS OF RACING THAN LAS VEGAS MOTOR SPEEDWAY!

With 1,600 acres in the northeast portion of the Las Vegas Valley, the "Diamond in the Desert" has been deemed the most remarkable race complex in the world. Sports Illustrated called it the Racing Capital of the West.

With more than a dozen different venues at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, ranging from go-karts to NASCAR Nextel Cup at the 1.5-mile superspeedway, there's something for everyone at the complex.

Short track programs include The Bullring (a 3/8-mile paved oval), along with road courses, a dirt track, and a state-of-the-art dragway. On any given weekend, there is activity in virtually every portion of the facility.

Simply put, if it has wheels, it can be raced at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. And with the many racing schools like the Richard Petty Driving Experience, Derek Daly Performance Driving Academy, 600 Racing, the Mario Andretti Racing School and Freddie Spencer's Riding School, fans can do more than watch racing.

Named after a prominent Las Vegas hotel owner and gaming pioneer, the facility has evolved over the years not only in size (from 15,000 to 32,000 and soon to 40,000 seats) but in the way it handled event bookings, marketing and sponsorship opportunities.

Sam Boyd Stadium is home to the UNLV Rebel Football team, the annual Western Athletic Conference Football Championships, The Las Vegas Bowl and the annual AMA Supercross Series Finals and Off-Road Challenge presented by PACE Motorsports.

Initially the building’s construction plans centered around one event only- college basketball. But over its 20-year history, this one-dimensional concept dramatically changed. Because of many physical attributes, the Center is capable of hosting just about any type of event imaginable.
