LaTourette Golf Course 18-Hole (Public)
1001 Richmond Hill Rd Staten Island, New York 10306 United States
Phone: (718)351-1889
Getting to this course is half the fun. Hop on the Staten Island Ferry from Lower Manhattan and check out the Statue of Liberty en route, or cruise over the Verrazano Narrows Bridge from Brooklyn. This design includes open, rolling fairways, bunkered greens and countless trees. The elevated tee on hole #14, a 354-yard, par 4, offers a sweeping view of the course and the clubhouse, which is an 1836 Greek Revival building. This course hosts the annual New York City Amateur tournament and is the only eighteen hole course in town with a driving range. John Van Kleek designed nine new holes and redesigned the others in 1935, and Frank Duane remodeled four holes in 1964.
