Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden
One of the world's preeminent botanic gardens, with extensive collections of rare tropical plants including palms, cycads, flowering trees and vines. Established in 1938, the 83-acre garden is among the region's most popular visitor attractions and offers a variety of programs in environmental education, conservation and horticulture. An international leader in tropical plant research, Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden plays an important part in preserving the biodiversity of the tropical environment.
Fruit and Spice Park
The Fruit & Spice Park is a 35-acre subtropical botanical paradise nestled in the heart of the historic Redland community just 35 miles south of Miami. Maintained and operated by Miami-Dade County Park and Recreation, more than 500 varieties of rare fruits, herbs, spices and nuts from around the world including 80 varieties of bananas; 70 varieties of bamboo; 40 varieties of grapes; 27 varieties of mangoes; 15 varieties of jackfruit trees and numerous other exotic edibles are grown here.
We invite you to come and marvel at lush trees brimming with colorful fruit whose very names and shapes evoke the exotic; Mangosteen, Fiji Longan, Dragon Fruit, and Jaboticaba. Visit the Park’s herb and vegetable garden, stroll through the shady banana groves, and wonder at the majesty of the African Baobab trees. Visitors may sample fallen fruit (no above-ground harvesting is permitted) or get a taste of the season’s bounty at the Welcome Center’s tasting table. Learn More
Bicentennial Park Miami Bicentennial Park sits on 30-acres of land in Biscayne Bay. The area hosts numerous events during the year, including music concerts and festivals, and is open to the public from sunrise to sunset on non-event days.

Everglades Safari Park & Attractions Picture postcard setting in the Florida Everglades. The Deering Estate at Cutler The Deering Estate at Cutler is an environmental, archaeological, historical and architectural preserve offering daily nature tours through the park's protected habitats. The 440-acre property houses a diverse array of habitats, including mangrove forests, salt marshes and a coastal dune island.

Parrot Jungle Island Parrot Jungle Island features a large collection of parrots and other exotic birds in a tropical jungle environment. Included on the island is a Serpentarium, an Everglades habitat, a Jungle Theater and interactive aviaries. Parrot shows are offered daily. The Treetop Ballroom may be booked for a range of events, accommmodating up to 1000 guests.
